EQUITY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC purchased Pacesetter Property Management in June 2005. Prior to that time EQUITY had been managing leased property investments since 2001.

At EQUITY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT it is our goal to maximize the EQUITY in your real estate investment. That goal is at the center of our management activities on your behalf.

When comparing EQUITY with other management companies, we recommend asking the following questions:

  1. Does the management company maintain its own maintenance staff?
    While on-staff maintenance personnel can be advantageous, there is also a need to recover the fixed costs and keep them employed on projects. EQUITY does not maintain any maintenance staff.
  2. Does the management company add mark up to maintenance charges?
    Many management companies add a 5% to 10% management fee to all maintenance and contract charges. At EQUITY all of our fees are included in the quoted monthly service charge.
  3. How many people does the management company have to service the needs of your tenant, your property or you?
    At EQUITY we are very proud to have the lowest resident to staff ratio among local property management companies. This enables us to have our phones answered by people not machines so that your questions are responded to quickly and accurately.

At EQUITY we understand your property is an investment. Accordingly, we structure your management agreement so that we get paid when you get paid.
